THE CONCERT-FIT FLOW

A shortlist built around your actual night.

SeatYaThere is being built to turn Chicago's crowded concert calendar into an explainable shortlist based on what you like and what you can realistically make.

01

Set your fit

Choose genres, ticket budget, available nights, travel limit, and the kind of room you enjoy.

02

See ranked shows

Hard constraints remove poor fits. Softer preferences rank the remaining concerts and explain why each one surfaced.

03

Verify and go

Review the sourced Show Brief, then continue to the official ticket seller to confirm availability and complete checkout.

What the Show Brief will contain

  • Official event and ticket link, with price status and last-checked time when available.
  • Doors, show time, estimated finish, and a clear distinction between confirmed and estimated details.
  • Travel duration—not speculative transportation cost—from the location the user provides.
  • Venue format, age rule, and official accessibility or policy information when published.

How personalization works

The initial system is an explainable fit score, not a mysterious AI verdict. Music taste leads the score, while budget, schedule, travel, and venue preferences adjust the ranking. Saved, dismissed, and opened concerts can improve future results on the same device. A streaming-service connection may be offered later, but it will not be required.

What SeatYaThere does not do

  • SeatYaThere does not sell, fulfill, refund, or guarantee tickets.
  • It does not invent missing prices, accessibility facts, or exact finish times.
  • It does not claim complete Chicago coverage while sources are still being validated.
Current stage

The current site demonstrates the ranking and Show Brief experience with illustrative concerts. Live records will activate only after their data source and permitted use are verified.
